PVE Players for the most part can literally ignore it outside of the little time they need to invest to get their collectibles. With Rowen the game got some more PvP which doesn't even have a whole lot of influence on the general game either and particularly PvP players got tossed a treat for maybe the first time in three years. For the most part in the history of LoA PVE Players got their way with PVP virtually having no influence on the actual game. Then again even if you tried you cannot even make it right for everyone since different parts of your playerbase want diametrically opposed things at times.
